APRA joins the world in mourning the passing away of a global colossus and true African icon, Kofi Annan.
The African Public Relations Association (APRA) joins the world in mourning the passing away of a global colossus and true African icon, Kofi Annan.
By his death, Africa has lost one of it’s greatest brand assets who along with the likes of Nelson Mandela impacted heavily on the narrative for a more Positive Africa especially in the face of contrived negativity.
In life and death, Annan remains an inspiration to Africans and the world at large. His life is a challenge for everyone to always strive for a better Africa and indeed the world.
In APRA’s opinion there’s no better way to immortalize Annan and preserve his legacy, than for the African Union and nation-states on the continent to adopt and implement policies of human advancement in peace, good governance and people’s welfare which he stood for.
APRA commiserates with members of his family, especially the African fraternity and the world over this irreparable loss.
One Africa!
