Lamia Rahal is an achievement-driven market access and public policy seasoned expert.
With her extensive experience over a decade (+12) in wide array of areas, spanning in regulatory affairs , market access, business development , public affairs government affairs in Africa where Lamia served as consultant for world bank (WB) and international finance corporation (IFC) and helped them to set up top high level country strategies in healthcare and pharmaceuticals sector.
Lamia’s career has been focused on promoting economic growth,entrepreneurship and sustainable development in the region.
She led many policy initiatives and dialogues with regional government and socio economic forums by engaging and advocating for policies that support entrepreneurship and create opportunities for local business to thrive , emphasizing the importance of empowering women and marginalized communities.
Lamia has completed a public policy analysis certification program at the London School of Economics. Previously, she earned an MBA from the American University of Leadership-Orlondo and a diploma in investigation and project management from the University of Paris.
The African Public Relations Association (APRA) is the successor organisation to the Federation of African Public Relations Associations (FAPRA) that was inaugurated in 1975 in Nairobi Kenya to foster unity via interaction and exchange of ideas amongst public relations practitioners in Africa as a whole.
